This file includes all changes made to the Comdasys FMC Server. This file documents all changes that have been made since version 10684.15 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important Information: Serial Number and Upgrade Handling ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Starting with the 10684.15, every MC Controller will require a serial number to work properly. On newly shipped systems this will already have been pre provisioned. Older systems will ask the administrator to enter the serial number of the unit. It can be found on the sticker of the device. If you have no physical access to the unit, you can get it from the packaging slip. For Virtualized Controllers you will be assigned a serial number with the delivery of your licenses. Having the serial number in the device will simplify future inquiries to support since support can easily identify the model and the hardware stepping. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Features: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Added Support for separate SIMPLE accounts. This enables using a separate SIP SIMPLE server besides the PBX and to use its UC functionalities. This works for example with the ESTOS CTI Server - Controller now also supports accounts with same SIP User ID on different PBXs including the case where they are routed through a common outbound proxy (Enhanced Multitenancy Support) - Introduced Call Status page that contains information about all past calls including call duration, Hangup cause and Voice quality indication - Introduced System Status page that displays overall system state and makes it easy to find configuration issues - Introduced Call Admission Control functionality to limit the number of calls that are placed through a WAN connection - Privacy Header now supported for anonymous calls - Support for G729 with 30 ms (optional G729 Codec module required) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bug Fixes: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - SIP SIMPLE Presence now set to offline upon deregistration - Fixed problem with redirection in Broadsoft corporate phone book - Fixed restart problem of back-2-back user agent in conjunction with Admin message from Openfire - Fixed unnecessary error messages on console for some hardware platforms - Fixed problem with config changes to usernames not becoming active on the fly in specific scenarios - Fixed issue with CSV import where the column order was off - Fixed load issue in RTP component of SBC - Several fixes to firewall WebGUI - Fixes to Firmware Downgrade functionality and to the bootloader "rollback" command - Recommended Handover setting was removed as functionality now automatically controlled - Fixes to forced configuration feature to make sure config is pushed on any type of change including OTA, LCR and Features - Fixed aborted call if aborted callback attempt is directly followed by a VoIP call - Fixes to Call Reverse handling including Direct Media, and Apple Push Notification sending in those scenarios - Apple Push Notification handling has been made more reliable in high traffic scenarios - URIs are now treated case sensitively - Fixed spurious node disconnection issue in N+1 redundancy scenario - Fixes to call log syncing (not showing calls picked up elsewhere as missed on the cell phone) with MxOne - Corrected SBC handling for requests containing rinstance parameter - Several stability fixes - Memory Leak Fixes ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Misc Changes: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Session Progress timeout was changed to 180 seconds - Publication interval for SIP SIMPLE presence now 600 seconds - Controller now avoids extending a call out to the mobile handset if it was forwarded from there thus avoiding a loop that can happen if e.g. people forward to corporate Voicemail - Improved NAT handling for firewalls that block traffic depending on direction of initial packet - Introduced sbc command on CLI to query status of SBC - Log messages have been improved in many places to give better indication of problem root causes - Reworked Deployment and especially the error messages there to simplify the process and make it less error prone - Improved editing of Feature Files to e.g. sort by Command ID - FMC Status page now shows correct source IP (also for NAT pinholes) - Several cleanups in the UI including nomenclature and translations ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important Information (upgrading from version smaller than 10684.13): ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Due to the newly introduced functionality of accepting calls from all configured GSM numbers, GSM numbers must now be uniquely assigned to one user - Note that the On-the-Phone presence state will only be displayed by clients in the respective versions that support this functionality - The newly introduced Call Reverse Mechanisms currently is incompatible with the previous old one -An optimization has been made that should seriously speed up the processing of feature sequences - Other user agents can only be used if they are added to the list of supported UAs under Security->SBC User Agents ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important Information: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - There is a change in LDAP. The searchstring has now to be entered in LDAP Format. E.g. Server Path: ou=folder Username: cn=username,dc=domain,dc=suffix - After upgrade please check XMPP Users. In order to avoid inconsistency on database, duplicate users will be deleted.
